Face-to-Face Test & Tag Course - VIC

The Test & Tag training day combines essential theory with practical, hands-on testing using a portable appliance tester. The morning session focuses on understanding inspection procedures, safety principles and compliance requirements, while the afternoon is dedicated to learning how to correctly test and tag equipment in real-world scenarios.

All classes are capped at a maximum of 12 participants to ensure everyone receives individual time and support from the trainer. By the end of the day, you should feel confident testing and tagging independently in your workplace.

We deliver Test & Tag training at multiple locations across Victoria, including both metropolitan Melbourne and regional venues.

Melbourne training locations include:

The Test & Tag course is a full-day training program, typically running from 8:00 am to approximately 4:30 pm, with breaks for morning tea and lunch.

If you are completing the Nationally Recognised course, there is also a self-paced WHS component to be completed prior to your training date. This additional component generally takes around 3 to 4 hours, depending on your existing knowledge and experience.

Upon successful completion of the Nationally Recognised Test & Tag course, you will receive a Statement of Attainment for UEESS00174 – Electrical Safety Testing of Electrical Cord Connected Equipment and Cord Assemblies Skill Set.

Your digital ID is issued by email immediately after completion, allowing you to download, access and share your qualification at any time.
