Job ad

Are you an Administrator who enjoys making connections with clients? Want to work within a team and enjoy a bit of banter?  Our business is growing, as is one of our employees, and that’s why we are looking for a ‘Training Administrator’ to jump in and join our close-knit team. This will be a 12month Full Time contract to cover Maternity leave but could turn into something more down the track. Whether you're earlier on in your career or have plenty of experience under your belt, we'd love to hear from you. The salary will depend on the level at which you join us. INTERESTED? PLEASE SEND YOUR UP-TO-DATE RESUME, COVER LETTER AND RESPONSES WE'VE ASKED FOR. IT'LL BE HARD TO STAND OUT IF YOU DON'T.

About Us

EXELTrain comes under the EXELNetwork umbrella, and we help people train for new or existing career pathways. We are a small team which work together to service students Australia wide as well as our Kiwi counterparts – and we’re doing seriously good work for our clients who truly value what we do.

The Opportunity

As a Training Administrator, your primary focus will be on building relationships with students and clients - with a strong focus on delivering the best training experience possible. You’ll speak to clients and students daily, identify their needs and point them in the right direction to a course that would most benefit them, even if it is not with us! You’ll also facilitate onsite course bookings, coordinate travel arrangements for trainers, record results and prepare certificates for printing. All the work you do will help our wonderful students gain a qualification so they can do what they do safely and confidently.

What we're looking for

  • You need the legal right to live and work in Australia. (Sorry - it is what it is.)
  • Ideally, you already have a few years under your belt, dealing with clients and working with them to meet their needs
  • One of your strong points is attention to detail
  • You’ll be able to show how tech savvy you are with your ability to pick up new systems
  • Needless to say, we're looking for impeccable English-language and outstanding communication and interpersonal skills
  • You’ll have the unique knack to seek understanding through asking great questions
  • You're passionate about people and don’t mind dealing with data too (yes….we are looking for a unicorn!!!)

Oh, and here’s another one. We trust you. We also care about you. In return, you’ll bring an innate work ethic, respect for others, and consistent integrity to all that you do.

Why we hope you'll love working for us

  • Real purpose, passion and impact: Your work here really matters but it’s not just about us. As a business, we like to give back to the community and donate to a charity selected by a different group of employees each month.
  • An incredible story and resume: You'll grow as you go.
  • Respectful, connected, energised people: Come say hi and see for yourself. We are a mob that actually like each other and have lunch together by choice!
  • A culture of recognition and support: We celebrate who you are and what you do and we all ‘share the load’. We even celebrate your birthday each year with your favourite cake.
  • Flex working options, including an RDO each month

Why we fear you might not

  • We rarely do ridiculous hours but we do work hard, every day
  • Our clients are awesome, but some need more patience than others
  • We value feedback very highly and will expect you to challenge and be challenged. We know that's not for everyone, but we love it

How to apply

Please apply via SEEK with your resume and a cover letter which includes responses to the following:

  • What is it about helping people that floats your boat?
  • Why (or why not) is data entry something you enjoy?
  • What do you feel would be the most important aspect of this role?

Please put your best foot forward and show us what you’re made of!

We'll respond to every applicant. Obviously.

Thanks for considering us. Hope to see you soon.
